Diflucan for your candida cure or yeast infection remedy
More and more women are suffering from yeast infection or Candidiasis. However, most of these women ignore the infection and its complications. If this is left untreated, the infection may lead to serious complications, which is sometimes fatal. This happens when the infection spreads all over the body. Before treating any vaginal symptoms, you must first seek a doctor, to be diagnosed. In cases that you are diagnosed with candidiasis, you are required to treat it with either an over the counter medication or organic remedies.
Candidiasis is a result of an overgrowth of fungi called Candida albicans. Hence, it is essential that you treat it with candida cure such as Diflucan. Some candida solutions like natural treatments can cause discomfort to most women. To address this issue, you can take any oral candida medication. The duration of candida treatment will depend on how serious the infection is or how the fungal infection will respond to Diflucan.
Diflucan has a generic name of fluconazole. It can treat fungal infections from any part of the body. This candida solution can also be used as a preventive measure for people with weak immune system or have Human Immunodefficiency Virus (HIV). Diflucan is a liquid solution that should be taken once daily. Before ingesting, it is recommended that you shake the solution properly. Unless, the doctor told you to stop, don’t stop taking Diflucan. On the contrary, the infection will reoccur if you stop too soon. While, taking it for too long would have its own repercussions, too.
Diflucan can also be used by men with penile yeast infection. However, not everyone can use Diflucan. Especially, if you are allergic to fluoconazole. It is wise that you look for other Candida treatment to cure the infection. In addition, Diflucan should not be taken with Propulsid and some other nutritional supplements. People who have irregular heartbeat, heart disease, kidney disease or liver disease are prevented from using this drug. Hence, it is advisable that you consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication.
However, like all over the counter drugs, Diflucan also has some side effects. This includes headache, dizziness, diarrhea, stomach pain, heartburn and change in taste. In worse cases, Diflucan may cause an upset stomach, extreme tiredness, unusual bruising or bleeding, lack of energy, loss of appetite, pain in the upper stomach area, skin and eye yellowing, flu-like symptoms, dark urine, pale stools, seizures, rashes, hives, itching, swelling and difficulty breathing or swallowing. Because of its potential side effects, women who are pregnant or breast-feeding are not advised to take this medication. In cases that you suffer from overdose, immediately call for professional help. The symptoms of an overdose includes hallucination and extreme fear.
Diflucan should be kept in tightly closed container and is out of reach of children. Keep it at room temperature and away from direct sunlight and humid areas. Check if the product is not expired. It is better that you throw away any liquid medication that is unused after 14 days or so. For proper disposal, you can ask your local pharmacist.
